Church of the Franciscan Fathers. Here, as a student of theology, Karol Wojtyla participated in the Holy Masses. Today, under the choir elevation, we can find the favorite bench of Karol Wojtyla with a commemorative plaque. During his first pilgrimage to Poland in 1979, in the Franciscan church, Pope John Paul II has met with sick people. Church of St. Florian. The first Krakow parish of Karol Wojtyla where he was a vicar after graduation (1949-1951). Here he led the parish catechesis, took care of the altar servers, and ran courses for brides. He left the church of St. Florian at the beginning of his further studies in order to obtain habilitation. Here in 1946, he celebrated his first Mass. In 1948, he was here consecrated as a bishop and also here the biggest Zygmunt’s bell announced his visit to Poland. Church of the Pauline Fathers.  In this church, St. Stanislaus died a martyr’s death in the 11th century and from the 13th century, a May procession traditionally sets off from this church to the Wawel Cathedral with the bishop of Krakow at the helm. Karol Wojtyla led this march many times and spoke in this church to people of culture and science twice.
