12.30 a.m. Lagiewniki: Chapel of the miraculous image of the Merciful Jesus and the tomb of St. Faustina. Place of the miraculous painting – “Jesus, I trust in You” – painted according to the vision of Saint Faustina. The revealed Jesus was to promise everyone who will worship this painting, that his/her soul will not perish and he/she will receive the grace of a happy death.As a young worker, Pope Karol Wojtyla came to pray here. Then, as a priest, he celebrated the services and, being a Pope, beatified and canonized Sister Faustina. Twice, during his pilgrimages to Poland, he visited this sanctuary, calling it the capital of the cult of the Divine Mercy.
