7.00 a.m. Warsaw – Wieliczka (320 km / 198 miles)
11.30 a.m. Wieliczka Salt Mine: Wieliczka Salt Mine.Visiting the Mine takes place only in groups of about 35 persons. Start of the trip is going down by 380 stairs to a depth of 135 meters below ground (happily, return is already by mining lift). The tour has 3 kilometers of corridors. On the trail is more than 20 chambers with the famous chapel of St. Kinga (built entirely of salt), Michalowice Chamber, Weimar Chamber. The temperature underground is approx. 15 C / 59 F regardless of temperature on the surface.
2.30 p.m. Wieliczka – Krakow (20 km / 13 miles)
3.00 p.m. Krakow: Sightseeing of Krakow (2,5 hours) with licensed guide in English. St. Mary’s Church. 10.30 a.m. Majdanek: Majdanek Museum in Lublin. Gate – memorial and survived entrance gate to the camp. Rosengarten – Selection Square. Barrack 41 (bath, gas chambers). Barrack 45 (mock camp). Barrack 47 (multimedia exhibition – history of the camp). Barrack 52 (tangible evidence of the crime – shoes of the victims). Barrack 62 (prisoners of Majdanek – historical exhibition). Barrack 14 and 15 (conditions of life in the camp). Column of Three Eagles. Crematorium. Execution ditches. Mausoleum. Board commemorating the victims of “Enterfest” execution.
1.00 p.m. Lublin: Guided sightseeing of Lublin. Multicultural trail – among others Orthodox Church, old Jewish quarter, Chapel of the Holy Trinity, monument to the Union of Lublin and Evangelical-Augsburg Church. Trail of Jewish culture – among others Jewish quarter, “Chevra Nosim” synagogue, Yeshiva – former Jewish school, Jewish cemetery. The Most Beautiful Places of Lublin – among others Castle Hill with Castle of Lublin, Grodzka Gate, Basilica of the Dominican Fathers, Market Square with building of Crown Court, Cathedral, Cracow Gate, New Town Hall, promenade and Lithuanian Square.
3.00 p.m. Lublin – Kazimierz Dolny (50 km / 31 miles)
4.00 p.m. Kazimierz Dolny: Sightseeing of Kazimierz Dolny and surrounding areas by electric bus (audio-guide, 3 languages). Loess gorges “Root Hole”. Promenade on the Vistula and granaries. The Jewish cemetery on the hill (so-called Wailing Wall). Time for coffee at the Market Square in Kazimierz Dolny.
6.00 p.m. Kazimierz Dolny – Warsaw (150 km / 93 miles)
